Healcyon comes from the Halcyon, which is a mythical bird said by ancient writers to breed in a nest floating at sea at the winter solstice, charming the wind and waves into calm. Halcyon also refers to paradise, which is why Healcyon is dedicated to creating sacred space which facilitates healing on all levels. Another meaning I have discovered is its derivation from the star Alcyone, which is the brightest star at the Autumn and Vernal Equinoxes-times when the Light and Darkness are in balance.
